Our client wanted two privacy screens, to provide a backdrop to a new pergola they had built. The answer was a set of bespoke horizontal slatted fence panels, handcrafted in our Leicestershire workshop using premium Thermowood timber.

Unlike standard off-the-shelf fencing, every panel was made to the exact dimensions required for the project. The clean horizontal lines create a contemporary look that complements both modern and traditional gardens, while the carefully spaced slats allow light and air to pass through, giving the boundary a lighter, more open feel.

Why Thermowood?

We choose Thermowood because it offers outstanding durability without relying on chemical preservatives. The timber is heat-treated using only heat and steam, making it more stable, more resistant to moisture, and less prone to warping or twisting than many traditional softwoods.

Its rich golden-brown colour also gives every installation a premium finish from day one. Left untreated, Thermowood naturally weathers to an attractive silver-grey, or it can be oiled periodically to retain its warm appearance.
